Cookbook Supplement Deadline Extended to Jan 31

The deadline for submitting recipes, old photographs, family histories and memories for the next Cottonwood Cookbook Supplement has been extended until Saturday, January 31, 2009.

This new supplement, the second one published for the popular “Cottonwood’s My Home” Cookbook, will feature an additional ring binder and about 70 pages of recipes and history inside. You’ll be able to keep the recipes in one ring binder and the history and old photographs in the other – or keep the original cookbook intact and put the supplements in the new ring binder.

Mail the materials to: Beverly Brown, 14394 CR 429, Cross Plains, Texas 76443. Call 254-725-7369. If you live in the area and have old photographs that you’d like to see in the supplement, but need to have the photos scanned or copied, email teri@cottonwoodtexas.com.

The original Cottonwood Cookbook, published in 2007, and the first Cookbook Supplement, are available at Texas Heritage Bank, The Cross Plains Review Office, and Connie’s Cuts & Curls or by calling Beverly at 254-725-7369.
