Quilting Club Bake Sale a Huge Success

In the true Cottonwood Tradition, Cottonwood's three main civil organizations came together to help one another out at the Cottonwood Quilting Club's Annual Fall Bake Sale last Saturday, Nov 7.

The Quilting Ladies sold pies, cakes and other goodies. The Cottonwood Volunteer Fire Control Group had the Snowball Quilt on display and was selling tickets on the quilt. And, the Cottonwood Historical Association was selling cookbooks and the Cottonwood Cookbook supplement.

Money raised went to help the Quilting Club with their charitable contributions throughout the year. They help out many organizations. Recently they purchased a new cookstove for the Cottonwood Community Center.
