Come out and hear some of the best music in the Big Country next Friday night at the Cottonwood Musical. Musicians from across the area will be performing some of your favorites from country, rock and roll, blues and a variety of other music. Admission to the musical is free.
The musical is held in the Cottonwood Community Center, once the old schoolhouse, in Cottonwood, off FM 880, north of Cross Plains.
Doors open at 5 p.m. with the music starting at 5:30. Chuck Patrick will emcee the event.
Sloppy Joes, sandwiches, pies, iced tea, coffee, soft drinks, and a special homemade dessert will be available in the kitchen. Proceeds from the kitchen go toward the care and maintenance of the Community Center.
